Darrell Riding

An inurnment for Darrell Eugene Riding, 83, of Burleson, will be scheduled at a later date in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.

Darrell passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Burleson. He was born November 30, 1940, in Wortham, Texas to Alvin and Clifford (Abbott) Riding. He married Judy Gail McMains on March 31, 1977 in Haltom City. Darrell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He worked as a Public Works Director for the City of Haltom City, and various cities around the Fort Worth area. Darrell also worked for the Fort Worth Police Department after serving his country in the United States Army. He was a 50-year Mason as well.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Riding of Burleson; sons, Darren Riding of Houston, Ronald Riding of Cedar Park, and Bobby Allen of Watauga; daughter, Sally Regian of Waco; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters, Terry and Tammy Riding.
