Darrell Cryer

Service for Darrell Lee “John Boy” Cryer, 69, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2023 at the funeral home.

Darrell passed away March 2, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born September 1, 1953 in Cleburne to William Leroy and Mamie Lee Howard Cryer. He had worked for FEMA and Delta Airlines in his security career. Darrell loved his dogs Coco and JoBob. Darrell also loved people. He liked to hunt but his true love was his family. Being with his family was Darrell’s biggest joy.

Darrell is survived by his sisters, Glenda Harrell, Carolyn Mitchell, Vickie Day; brother, Kenneth Cryer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Natalie Cryer; brothers, Clifford Charles “Buddy” Cryer and Danny Cryer; sister, Judy Thomas; nephew, David Thomas; brother-in-law, Larry Thomas.
