A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, located at 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas.

Darlene Grigsby, 66, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Fort Worth.

Darlene was born on August 1, 1958, in Cleburne to Donald and Shirley Grigsby, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Hollinger; grandchildren, Hallee Stokes, Austin Stokes, and Harper Hollinger; great-grandchildren, Bowen Coburn and Miles Stokes; aunt, Janice Grigsby; siblings, Donald Grigsby Jr. and wife Diann, and Darryl Grigsby; nieces, Candi Harrison, Aarika Moore, and Kylee Grigsby; nephews, Donald, Dustin, and Dylan Grigsby; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Darlene had a deep and abiding compassion for others, which led her to a fulfilling career in nursing. She was always there to offer comfort, support, and a reassuring presence to patients and their families during their most challenging moments.

She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together. Her love for others shone through in the joyful gatherings she once hosted—filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

She found her greatest joy in the company of her grandchildren, whose laughter and boundless energy were a constant source of light and happiness in her life.

Darlene will be remembered for her generous heart, compassionate nature, and the vibrant, sassy spirit that touched the lives of everyone around her. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful presence will be deeply missed.
