Daniel Velez

A graveside service for Daniel Velez, 61, of Grandview, will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the Rio Vista Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033 prior to the graveside service. 

Daniel Velez passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 1, 1964, to Guadlupe and Ramero Velez.

He enjoyed turning wrenches and making people laugh. Daniel always loved to help others, but his greatest accomplishment was teaching his children to be respectful, hardworking, and to love the Lord. Daniel was a good man and a good provider to his family. He had an unwavering faith in the Lord and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Raylene Russell; granddaughter, Amaya Velez, and his parents, Ramero Velez and Guadalupe Hinajosa.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Terri Velez; children, Deniel Velez & his wife Terissa, Patsy Velez, and Roger Velez & his wife Skyler; grandchildren, Isaac Velez, Gabriel Velez, Natalie, Alexander, Miles, and Grayson Velez; brothers, Pedro Velez & his wife, Agnes and David Velez; sisters, Maria Alicia Velez and Dana "Elizabeth" Mixon & her husband, Rodney, and numerous other relatives and friends.
