Damon Jevon Pollard

A funeral service for Damon Jevon Pollard, 46, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033, with Minister Aiyan Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Cleburne. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Damon Jevon Pollard, born on June 10, 1978, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully in his hometown on May 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a spirit that touched the lives of many. He was a true testament to the qualities of a gentleman, known for his gentle nature and the ability to light up a room with his goofy personality.

Damon was a larger-than-life figure, often affectionately referred to as a "gentle giant" and a "teddy bear." His quiet demeanor hid a vibrant soul with the biggest heart, always putting the needs of others before his own. He was known to give anyone the shirt off his back, embodying the very essence of care and compassion. Damon not only excelled in being a supportive son, brother, father, and friend, but he was also a remarkable fashion statement in his own unique way.

Damon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Pollard and Willie Smith; brother Craig Pollard; and stepfather Alfred Wooldridge.

He is survived by his parents, Linda Wooldridge and William Pollard; son, Jordan Riggs Pollard and wife Pauline; siblings, Cameron Hogan, Celeste Montgomery and husband Brad, Kwesi and Tracey Pollard, Linsey Pollard, Tanita Powell and her husband, Latonya Allen, Chantrice Wooldridge and Tony Wooldridge; grandchildren, Maddi and Asher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Additionally, Damon was devoted to his fur babies, Dolph, Rick James, Chuy, and Mascara Pollard, who brought joy to his life.

As we bid farewell to Damon, we celebrate his life filled with humor, generosity, and an unmatched love for those around him. He leaves an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be sorely missed.
