Damon Jenkins

Service for Damon Lamont “Monsta” Jenkins, 44, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 24, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 A.M. prior to service.

Damon passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born July 22, 1977, in Cleburne. Damon married Tami Renee Slobodgen in 2005. He was a member of St. Paul CME. Damon was a care-free spirit. He always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. Monsta was a talented football player in high school, and an avid sports fan. Damon enjoyed barbequing and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed greatly for years to come.

Damon is survived by his wife, Tami Jenkins; mother, Felecia Jenkins; children, Victoria Jenkins, and Simon Jenkins; brother, Julius Jenkins; niece, Jurnee Jenkins; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Trosey Jenkins, and grandmother, Margaret “Gann” Jenkins.
