Cynthia Weems

Service for Cynthia “Cindy” Weems, 65, of Joshua will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be private in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Prior to the service.

Cindy passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Fort Worth. She was born April 11, 1958 in California to Robert James and Dorothy Ogletree. Cindy married James Lewis Weems on November 16, 1979 in Kennedale. She was a hardworking nurse who liked to ride motorcycles. She loved making crafts, cooking and baking for her family. Cindy enjoyed watching sports and playing softball. She will be greatly missed.

Cindy is survived by her husband, James Lewis Weems; sons, Farrell Weems and wife, Angie, Matthew Weems; brothers, Robert James Ogletree, Jr., Jonathon Ogletree, David Ogletree; niece, Teresa Cardone; great-nieces, Elysa Ogletree Emma Vargas and multiple family members in California.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Ogletree.
