Services for Cloyce Thompson Currie, 102, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will be at 3:00 P.M. in the Laurel Land Cemetery. Visitation will be at 12:00 P.M.,Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Cade Cornish, Drew Laws, Ben Allen, Shane Laws, Ryan Fenn and Matt Laws. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mason and Conner Keele.
Mrs. Currie, a homemaker, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born April 2, 1908 in the Paluxy community of Somervell County to A.B. and Ella Holmes Rayfield. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Cleburne.
Cloyce Thompson Currie is survived by her son-in-law, Aaron Laws and wife Glenda, of Cleburne; four grandchildren, Neal Laws, Lisa Kern, Mike Laws and Tim Laws; 11 great grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Laws on February 12, 2002; two husbands, Virgil Thompson and Dennis Currie; two brothers and five sisters.
