Chester Bowman

Service for Chester Bowman, 81, of Joshua will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 prior to the service.

Chester passed away April 15, 2022 in Fort Worth. He was born April 15, 1941 in Weatherford to John Carl and Rose Currington Bowman. Chester married Brenda Mae Manson on September 2, 1966 in Joshua. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of service and worked at General Dynamics for 7 years. Chester liked to race cars and to go camping. He loved working on old cars and could fix anything.

Chester is survived by his wife, Brenda Bowman of Joshua; daughters, Angie Sirek and husband Wade of Cleburne, Christie Martin of Grandview; son, Johnny Bowman and wife Heather of Cleburne; grandchildren, Trevor Martin, Trent Martin, Emma Bowman, Ava Bowman, Jace Bowman and Cash Bowman; siblings, Charlotte Bowman, Charles Lee Wright, Martha Sandlin and several nieces and nephews.
