Charles Michael “Mike” Forrest passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born May 17, 1952 in Johnson County, Texas to the late, O.C.,Jr. and Martha Jean Clarke Forrest. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church, Cleburne. He was a 1970 graduate of Cleburne High School, where he excelled in various sports, especially football. He went on to earn his engineer’s degree at University of Texas, Austin as well.

Mike was involved in the family business, Forrest Auto Park, for a number of years as well as a member of several automobile and civic clubs and organizations associated with the business. Mike believed in giving back to the community and strived to do so. His friends have described him as a giving and charitable man, always willing to help others on a personal level as well. A favorite of his was the Christmas season, in which he looked forward to all aspects from the music, decorations and celebrating with his beloved mother, especially traveling with her during this time of year. Mike will be greatly missed by those closest to him.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and other family members. Survivors include a small number of family members and numerous friends and acquaintances.
