A graveside service for Charles Edward Leck, 72, of Joshua, will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2025 in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. Family and friends are welcome to stop by the funeral home to sign the register and pay last respects on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:00AM – 4:00PM for those unable to attend the graveside service.

Charles Edward Leck passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 30, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. Charles was his own man, often surprising you with his comings and goings along with his joking nature. He believed in being early wherever he went and showing up for those he cared about. He had a special kind of heart and was always willing to help others. Charles was an avid animal lover and sports-fan. The Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys were two of his favorite teams. He was known for his grilled pork chops and various pies he baked. Charles will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lois Leck, Sr. and Lois Inez Blankenship Leck; wife, Regina “Gina” Kaye Leck; brother, Ernest Leck, Jr. and grandson Drew Murray.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jason Pounders; stepdaughters Jodi White, Jami and David Murray; grandchildren, BriAnna Lorenz and her fiancé Joshua Gardner, Ty Jones, Garrett Pounders, Bailey Stokes & her husband, Thomas, Bailey Murray, Colton, Brooke, and Kailey White; great-granddaughter, Sutton Stokes; brother, Jerry Leck; sister-in-law, Verna Leck; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
