Funeral services for Charlene Dickenson Brand, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the funeral home.

Charlene Dickenson Brand passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born in Walker County, Texas to Leroy Venette and Betty Lou (Cox) Dickenson on December 25, 1946. She married the love of her life, Robert Michael “Mike” Brand, on January 21, 1967 in Burleson. Charlene was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a real estate agent for several years before becoming a homemaker. Charlene’s favorite title was “Nana”. Her grandchildren were truly her pride and joy. It has been said that Charlene was a strong-willed spitfire, charismatic, and witty lady with a loving nature. She was an avid animal lover and reader, especially of mystery novels. Charlene enjoyed crocheting and watching her shows. She will be missed greatly. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; and husband (all listed above).

Survivors include her daughter, Robyn Brand; grandchildren, Jayde Rice, Briana Smith Johns & her husband, Luke, and Brian Dale Smith; great grandchildren, Maveryk, Corbin, Maeve and one on the way; siblings, Randy Dickenson, Lisa Enlow, and Teresa Dickenson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
