Celsa Nevarez Reyna

A memorial service celebrating the life of Celsa Nevarez Reyna of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 in the Crosier- Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Father Scott Wooten will officiate.

Celsa was born May, 5, 1959 in Durango Mexico and passed away February 24, 2023 in Cleburne TX. She was born to Margarito and Francisca Reyna Nevarez. Celsa married Rodolfo Martinez in 1980 in La Paz Baja CA. They loved and supported each other for 42 years. She was of Catholic faith. She loved to dance and sing karaoke. She loved butterflies and watching birds and crocheting. She was hard working and did all that she could to support her husband and family. She was also a good cook. Cooking for her family was her way to show her love. She was young at heart and easily related to children. She loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Celsa always turned their time together into an adventure. A simple day with them included dancing, singing, rolling in the grass and stopping to smell the flowers . She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Felipe Lopez, Yessenia Martinez and Isaac Martinez; grandchildren, Alejandra Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Christian Martinez, Ashely de la Fuente and Brissa Reyes; siblings, Emiliano, Paulina, Feliz, Rosario, Cutberto, Guadalupe, Santos and Roberto Nevarez; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her grandson Felipe Lopez Jr.; siblings Valentin Nevarez and Maria Nevarez.
