Carolyn Ford, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in her hometown of Cleburne, Texas. Born on September 2, 1942, Carolyn lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and a gentle spirit that touched all who knew her.

Carolyn was deeply family-oriented, a foundation of love that defined her existence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ogle Clyde "Buster" Ford, with whom she shared a lifelong bond. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a devoted mother to her children and grandmother to her beloved grandchildren.

Her life's work was as much a labor of love as her role in the family. Carolyn cherished her career at Cooke Elementary School, where she was not only a respected professional but also a source of encouragement and affection to the children and her colleagues. Her dedication left a lasting impression on the community she served.

Outside of her family and career, Carolyn found happiness in the simple and creative pleasures of life. An avid sewer and crocheter, she delighted in crafting beautiful handmade gifts for her loved ones. She was also a passionate plant enthusiast, tending her garden with care and pride. Travel was another of her favorite passions in life, offering her glimpses of the wider world that enriched her life experiences.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lucille Jones; her husband, Ogle Clyde "Buster" Ford; her sons, Ogle Clyde III and William James Ford Sr.; her sister, Sue Ann Jones-Hughes and her granddaughter, Mallory Kay Ford. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Amanda Ford, William Ford Jr., and Kaylee Ford and husband, Kyle; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Kyle, Derek, Amorae, Keatton, James, and Aubrey; brother, Donnie Jones and wife, Rhonda; and her beloved dog, Lucy.

Carolyn's enduring legacy is one of love, kindness, and dedication. As we say goodbye to Carolyn Ford, we honor a life well-lived. A life devoted to family, service, and the quiet joys that bring richness to our days. Her memory will be held dear always, a testament to the beautiful soul she was and the profound impact she had on her world. She is warmly remembered by all who knew her.
