Brenda Clay-Lewis

A funeral service for Brenda Clay-Lewis, 65, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033, with Rev. Pauline Lauderdale officiating. The family has requested all attendees wear red in remembrance of Brenda Clay-Lewis. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Cleburne with Cory Humber, Finnesse Jimmeson, Elijah Murff, Donald McNeil Jr., Derrick Burks, Donavan Burks, Charles Johnson Jr., and Bobby Dale Earl serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, January 16,2026.

Brenda Clay Lewis passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born August 6, 1960 in Cleburne, Texas to Ira and Ollie McDowell Clay.

Brenda graduated from Cleburne High School in 1978 and was a devoted member of the Cleburne Full Gospel Holy Temple, where she found strength and camaraderie among her fellow congregants. Her presence touched the lives of many, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends who hold dear the memories of her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ollie McDowell Clay and brother, Richard Clay.

Survivors include her children, Sabrina Clay and her wife, Vikki, Melissa Lewis, Robert Lewis III and wife, Andrea Campos-Lewis; siblings, Gracie McNeil and husband, Donald, Bruce Clay, and Mary Clay; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a host of other family and friends.

Brenda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
