"Boozy" H. L. Bingham, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 18, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on May 1, 1968, in Cleburne, Boozy was a man known for his gruff exterior and heart of gold, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Boozy’s zest for life was evident in his many passions and pastimes. He was an avid flea marketer, finding joy in the charm and history of forgotten treasures. His fascination with Bigfoot reflected a playful spirit and a love for the mysteries of the world. Those who spent time with him often recall his quiet pleasure in tending to flowers and savoring a cold beer while watching a fire burn—a small moment of peace for a vibrant soul. Among his greatest joys were the rides he gave on his scooter to his cherished nieces, nephews, and children, moments brimming with laughter and warmth.
Boozy was preceded in death by his parents, "PeeWee" H.L. Bingham, Jr., and Lila Harris Mitchell. He is survived by his sisters, Stella Taves and Patti Pena; his beloved nieces and nephews, Tyson Taves, Ashlee White, Mickayla Mitchell, and Nicolas Pena; his great nieces and nephews Caeson Pena, Sawyer Mitchell, Adylynn Mitchell, Juleanna Mitchell, Kharri White, Beau White, and Karlie Taves; his best friend, Tonya Tucker Bishop, and many other beloved family members and friends.
Boozy’s spirited presence and unwavering love will continue to be felt by all fortunate enough to have known him. He will be deeply missed by many, remembered as a man with a rough exterior who offered unconditional kindness and joy to those around him.
