Bobby Ray Vaughan

Bobby Ray Vaughan, 79, of Cleburne, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born in Cleburne on December 10, 1944, to J.H. (June) and Doris Vaughan of Blum, Texas. 

 A 1963 graduate of Blum High School, Bobby married Myrtis Lorene Owens of Covington, Texas on November 16, 1964.  Bobby and Myrtis owned and operated Bob’s Auto Supply in Cleburne for 18 years.   

 Bobby offered warmth and friendliness to those he knew and strangers alike.  He led his life with determination, discipline, and generosity. The center of his life was his beloved family. 

Bobby is survived by his children, Darla Vaughan and husband Chad Davis, Travis Vaughan and wife Rachel, Sarah Correa and husband Bethuel; grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Owen Davis, Jesse Correa, Melanie Correa, Samuel Vaughan, and Audrey Vaughan; brother, Bill Vaughan and wife Donna; and sister, June Moore and husband Wayne.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Vaughan, and parents, J.H. (June) Vaughan and Doris Vaughan Mills.

Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, March 22, 2024, at the funeral home.
