Bill Waters

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, William “Bill” Henry Waters, III passed away at age seventy-five. Bill is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Jeanne Rettew Waters; son, William Charles Waters; daughter, Sarah Waters Wood (Ken) and grandchildren Angel, Jack, Avery, Delaney, Brody and Aaron. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Waters, Jr. and Mildred Garner Waters.

Bill was born in New York and grew up in Miami, Florida where he graduated from Coral Gables High School. He loved animals of all kinds (dogs and horses in particular) and was an avid nature photographer. Following a distinguished career with AvMed healthcare, he retired in Florida and enjoyed his hobbies of boating and photography for many years before moving to Texas.

Bill will be remembered as a great organizer, a man of many stories---ready to share the best anecdote or joke for any occasion.
