A funeral service for Billy George Shepperd, 92, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033, with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery, Cleburne. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home prior to service.

Bill Shepperd, an esteemed resident of Cleburne, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2025. Born on December 13, 1932, in Gladewater, Texas, Bill lived a life full of passion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Texas Christian University, Bill's multifaceted interests and talents made him a remarkable individual. He was a gifted engineer with a specialty in math and physics. His intellect was matched only by his love for life; he was a cowboy at heart, a computer nerd who delighted in technology, and foremost, a devoted husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lois Shepperd, and his sister, Virginia Burkett. Their memories will forever be intertwined with the life he led, which was characterized by love, humor, and genuine kindness.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Shepperd, and their children, Janyth Borrow and her husband Bill, and Gregg Shepperd; grandchildren, Jason Bryant and Riley Bryant. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, each carrying cherished memories of their time with him.

In his passing, Bill Shepperd leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering spirit that will be remembered fondly by all he touched.
