A graveside service for Betty Sue Woods, 83, of Grandview will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, October 12, 2026, in the Chriesman Cemetery located at 479 County Road 328, Caldwell, Texas.

Betty Sue Woods passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, in Grandview, Texas. She was born on March 4, 1943, in Buda, Texas.

Betty will be remembered for the qualities and pleasures that brought character and warmth to her life. She was an animal lover and an avid reader, and she enjoyed all kinds of games, including cards and board games. She was also known for her ornery attitude, a spirited part of her personality that those around her knew well and will long remember with affection.

As family and friends remember Betty Sue Woods, they will hold close the memories of her unique nature, her interests, and the moments shared in the simple joys she loved. Her life leaves behind a lasting remembrance in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lloyd Woods and Minnieola Marie Boedeker. 

Betty is survived by her dearest friends, Sherri and David Trew. 

A very special thank you is extended to the staff of Grandview Nursing Home and Wings Over Texas Hospice for all of the care they provided to Betty.
