Betty Poindexter

Services for Betty Lou Poindexter, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Poindexter passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Fort Worth. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Cleburne. Betty was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Granbury. She earned her masters degree from Texas Women's University. Betty worked as a dance professor at Georgia College for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a host of caring friends in Cleburne and from her church in Granbury, all of whom loved her so much and will miss her dearly.
