Betty Jo (Miller) Freeman

In Loving Memory of Betty Jo Freeman

Betty, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Cleburne. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

Born January 10, 1934, in Red River County, Texas to Henry and Alma Rebecca (Caddenhaad) Miller. Betty was married to Paul Freeman. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Family Church in Cleburne. Betty enjoyed listening to country music, spending time with family, and for many decades you could find her at the local flea market because she loved to buy and sell goods.

Leaving behind to cherish her memories are her children, Earl Walker of Lubbock, Texas, Ricky and wife, Ruby Wooley of Vilonia, Arkansas, Beatrice and husband, Victor Hanks of Cleburne, Texas, Becky and husband, Toby Dutton of Levelland, Texas, and Mary Pineda of Lubbock, Texas; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends that she considered blessings.

Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Paul Freeman.

From one of her favorite songs “when I get where I am going, on the far side of the sky, the first thing that I am going to do is spread my wings and fly and when I see my Maker’s face, I’ll stand forever in the light, Of His amazing grace.”

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Pentecostal Family Church of Cleburne in her honor.
