Service for Betty Jane Coke Gossett, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 2, 2023in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the funeral home.

Betty Jane passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Fort Worth. She was born September 1, 1934, in Post, Texas to Luther R. and Mildred A. Ayres Coke. Betty Jane married Trennon Lederon Gossett on January 8, 1948.They owned rocking T Dairy Farm in Cleburne. Betty Jane loved the Elk’s Lodge, where she was a volunteer. Her family was her most precious gift. She will be greatly missed.

Betty Jane is survived by her daughters, Patricia Massengale, Donna Polson and husband Roger, Sharon Greenfield and husband Robert; sisters, Kay Carrell, Kristy Collins, June Parson; grandchildren, Trennon Massengale, Audra Poeggel, Roger Heath Polson, Jackie Applegate, Greg Polson, Aaron Greenfield III, John Polson, Nick Polson; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Jane is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Billy Joe Edwards, Leroy Dunsworth and sister Patricia Rogers.
