A graveside service for Bettie May (Walker) Allen, 90, of DeLeon, will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025, in the Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery, situated at 405 Waters Street, Cleburne, TX 76031 with Matthew Gray, Kolton Losawyer, Seth Ware, Kaleb Dickey, Cason Barrett and Aiden Lynn serving as pallbearers. Coy Losawyer and Kamen Dickey are honorary pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033 on Sunday, December 21, 2025. .

Bettie Walker Allen, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on March 29, 1935, in Alvarado, Texas. Bettie's life was characterized by her feisty spirit, profound love for her family, and an unwavering commitment to the values she held dear.

Bettie had a passion for puzzles, which often served as a metaphor for her approach to life; she cherished the challenge and took joy in piecing together complex situations with care and creativity. As the matriarch of her family, her words held authority, and what she said went.

She was preceded in death by husband, Bob Allen; her parents, Ira Walker and Gladys Reynolds; her sons, William Stephens and Curtis Warren, and her daughter, Karen Gray.

Bettie is survived by her daughters Pat Ware, Kathy Sweet, and Cyndi Losawyer; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was fondly known as "Nanny." Her ability to love fiercely and lead with strength made her not only a mother but also a guiding light for many.

Bettie Walker Allen's legacy of strength, love, and family values will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will continue to shine through the lives of everyone she has touched.
