Belden Coomansingh

Service for Dr. Belden Coomansingh, 78, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 12, 2013 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, in Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Dr. Belden Coomansingh passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Ft. Worth. He was born Oct. 14, 1934 in Sauteurs, Grenada, West Indies to David and Mary Munroe Coomansingh. He married Sheila Nyack on Dec. 27, 1962 in Victoria, Grenada, West Indies.

Dr. Coomansingh was a physician, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was a member of Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sheila Coomansingh of Cleburne; three daughters, Kandia Zarrelli of Connecticut, Cherie Bensend of West Point, Mississippi, and Alison Hill and husband Patrick of Cleburne; three grandchildren, Erin Bensend, Patrick Hill II, and Leilani Hill; one great granddaughter, Yailyn Bensend; brother, Ashton Coomansingh and wife Yvonne of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
