Barbara Keene

Service for Barbara A. Keen, 75, of Joshua will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 7, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the funeral home.

Barbara passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at her home in Joshua. She was born July 25, 1947 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Herman “L.T.” and Anna Mae McGowan Keen.

Barbara was a medical coder for several hospitals and a member of North Pointe Baptist Church in Burleson. Barbara was a quiet but busy lady. She spent countless hours watching her favorite movies, crocheting, or painting on her phone. Barbara was a fan of all kinds of gadgets. She was a talented crafter even when her eyes failed her. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her Bible studies most. Barbara’s giving nature and kind hearted spirit will be missed greatly.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Anna M. Keen; and brother, Leonard J. Keen and his wife, Patricia; as well as her church family and friends.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Herman “L.T.” Keen.
