Arturo Carranza

Services for Arturo “Art” Carranza, 66, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 8, 2020, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Randy Tucker and Brother Rudy Rudewick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eastern Gates Cemetery in Trinity, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday for 6-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Arturo “Art” Carranza was born in Las Yescus, Texas in Cameron County on September 1, 1954 and passed away in Dallas, Texas on October 5, 2020. Art was the oldest of eleven born to Severo and Celia Carranza.

Art was a ranch manager at the Walter G. Mize Ranch in Cleburne, Texas for 44 years. He loved and cared for this ranch as his own. If there ever was a real King of the Cowboys, it was Art. God welcomed Art in Heaven and Him being so proud of Art’s life on Earth. Art was so faithful to the land, to his animals and to people. Art was faithful and humble.

Art is survived by his loving wife, Ester; one brother; seven sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
