Graveside services for Anna E. Curry Morton, 93, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Alton Ashby will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.


Anna passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born to Richard Dick and Anna Marie Curry on January 20, 1920 in Casscoe, Arkansas. She married Joe Willard Morton on August 23, 1936 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She took great pride in being a homemaker and caring for her family. You could always find her cooking, sewing or reading. There is no question that she was always busy and organized. It has been said that she was the sweetest lady you could ever meet. She loved everyone, even if they might not have deserved it. Her angelic spirit and giving nature will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael Meredith; brother, John Curry; sister, Ellen Curry; and one infant brother.



Survivors include her children and their spouses, JoAnn and Bill Meredith, Richard Morton, Willene Walker, and Nathan and Teresa Morton; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, including niece, Anna Henry.
