Anita Davis

Anita Davis, 92 of Grandview, Texas passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. Born on January 18, 1933, in Vinton, Ohio, Anita lived a life characterized by her compassionate heart and profound love for others. Her warm spirit and unfaltering dedication to family have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Anita was an adoring mother and wife, embodying the essence of nurturing and support throughout her 71 years of marriage to her late husband, Leland Davis. Together, they built a loving family that flourished under Anita's unwavering care. Her passion for bringing people together was evident in every gathering and celebration, where laughter and joy filled the air, often sparked by her efforts to bring out the best in every situation.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Davis; her parents, George Christy and Linnie Willison; and her siblings. The memories of shared laughter, lessons learned, and love expressed will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends, creating a lasting tribute to the incredible woman she was.

Anita is survived by her children: Mary Davis Orr, Robert H. Davis, Sr. and his wife Kathy, Connie Lea Mohr, Tom Davis and his wife Robin; grandchildren Roy Lee Orr and his wife Janna, Jerry Alan Orr and his wife Beth, Terra Dawn Orr Wilson and her husband Ron, Tammy, Robert H. Davis, Jr., Nikki, Robert Allen, Christi, Thomas, Steven Michael, Rachel, Curtis Mohr and his wife Jessica, numerous great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. 

As we remember Anita Davis, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart that opened its doors to all in need, and a love that will forever light the paths of her family. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
