Althea Petty passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in Cleburne. She was born May 12, 1919 in Loraine, Ohio to Frank L. and Delihla Slider Norton. She married Bobby L. Petty on June 1, 1946 in Texas City, Texas. Mrs. Petty was a homemaker.
Althea Petty is survived by daughter, Nancy Gravelle and husband Kenneth of Cleburne; two sons, Robert Petty and wife Aqanita of Cleburne and Milton Carter and wife Michele of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby L. Petty on June 21, 2002; sister, Beryl Inman in 1977; grandson, Robert Petty and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Gravelle.
