Alice Street

Service for Alice Street, 87, of Cleburne will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the funeral home.

Alice passed away September 30, 2022 in Cleburne. She was born March 29, 1935 in Rogers, Texas to Damascus “Mack” and Mary Ellen Smith Nichols. She married John F. Street, Sr. on July 12, 1951 until he passed away on August 17, 1996. She then married James Owen Ballard on June 9, 2001 in Cleburne. Alice was an LVN. She lived her life to serve Jesus and would share about him to everyone. Alice came from a musical family and loved singing on the radio with her sister. Even in her last days Alice played the piano and guitar. She loved singing with Malachi and Landon.

Alice is survived by her husband, James Ballard of Cleburne; son, John Franklin Street, Jr. “Frankie” and wife, Shelby of Rio Vista; daughter, Susan Street of Cleburne; grandchildren, Tammy Hall and husband, Matt, Karen Kelly and husband, Jason, Keith Clark and wife, Cheryl, Julie Bradley and husband, Jason, Steven Clark and wife, Kris and Michael Clark and wife, Jessica; numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Franklin Street, Sr.; son, Donald Lynn Street, Sr.; daughter, Judith Street Terry; 15 siblings; granddaughter, Denise Street; grandson, Bradley Clark; great granddaughter, Kaitlynn Hall; great grandsons, Dillon Street and Dakota Street; great great grandson, Jackson Lane, and numerous nieces and nephews.
