Alice Capps

Alice Capps, 103, of Keene passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Keene. She was born January 15, 1919, in Bangalore, India to Eric and Minnie Meleen. Alice spent her childhood years in India where she received her early education. She went to school at Vincint Hill in India, Collonges, France, Union Springs Academy in New York and was graduated from Atlantic Union College. She was married to Sam Capps for 57 years, and after his death she married, and was preceded in death by her husband James. Alice was an English teacher with 30 plus years of service. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. She looked forward to the 2nd coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the righteous when she will be reunited with all her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her 4 children; 2 stepchildren; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and Special caregivers, Amy and Grace; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her 2 husbands; sisters, Helen Lowry, Gertrude Ayala, and Margaret Lee.
