A funeral service for Adelie Grace Varela, 2 years old, of Joshua, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Chisholm Summit Community Church located at 9705 County Road 1016, Burleson, TX 76028 with Pastor Greg Warren and Minister Makinley Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne with BryLynn Varela, Emma Varela, Arturo Rojas, Kelsey Flower, Jacob Flower serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, TX 76033 on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Adelie Grace Varela, a radiant light whose presence deeply touched all who knew her. Born on March 14, 2024, in Cleburne, Texas, Adelie brought unique joy and brightness into the world during her brief but impactful time with us. She was affectionately called Addie-bug", "Gracie" and "Baby Addie" by those closest to her—symbolizing the vibrant spirit and endearing sassiness that made her truly unforgettable.
Addie’s life, though short, was filled with a beauty and charm that will be cherished forever. Her spirit, vibrant and full of life, will be profoundly missed by her devoted family and all fortunate enough to have experienced her warmth.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, "Granny JJ" and "Papa Frank", Johnny Johnson, Arturo Rojas, Francisco Rojas, Jose Sabas Varela, Socorro Varela, Carolina Rojas, Eloisa Manzanarez, and Wanda.
Addie is survived by her parents, Gabriel and Selena Varela; big sisters, BryLynn and Emma Varela; grandparents, David and Michelle Miracle, Angeles and Genaro Varela, and Arturo and Rita Rojas; aunts and uncles, Kelsey & Jacob Flowers, Chelsea & Jacob Miracle, Gardenia & Juan Arellano, Sonia & Gisela Varela, Genaro A. Varela, Annalicia Rojas, Jose Jimenez, Emily Jimenez, Cynthia and Dominick Sanchez and numerous cousins.
Addie Grace Varela’s brief journey in this world leaves a lasting legacy of love, light, and laughter. Her memory will forever remain a beacon of warmth in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
