A memorial service for A.D. Moore, 88, of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 22, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service on Friday, August 22, 2025.

A.D. Moore, a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of 88. Born on April 1, 1937, in Waco, Texas, A.D. was a man of many passions and interests that brought joy not only to his life but also to the lives of those around him.

Throughout his life, A.D. cultivated a deep love for television shows and movies, often seen sharing his favorite cinematic moments with friends and family. His keen sense of storytelling and engaging presence made him a delightful companion during movie nights and discussions about the latest blockbuster or classic film.

A.D.'s hands were never idle; he had a remarkable talent for working on cars, always eager to lend a hand to those in need of automotive advice or repairs. His mechanical skills were matched by his pride in maintaining his yard and garden, which stood as a testament to his dedication and passion for cultivating beauty in his surroundings. A.D. is preceded in death by his parents, Arvest and Manie Moore; children, Belinda Gorr, Barry Moore and three sisters.

A.D. is survived by his wife, Connie Moore; son, Curtis Moore and wife Mary Jean; son-in-law, Terry Gorr; grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Brandi Carranco and husband Eddie, Kevin Moore and Jessica, Colt Gorr and wife Brandi Rae and Bobby Swick; and six great-grandchildren.

A.D. Moore's legacy is one of care, enthusiasm, and vibrant spirit. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his absence will be deeply felt by his community. As we celebrate his life, we embrace the love and warmth he shared with those fortunate enough to cross his path.
