Obituary

Memorial service for Ronald G. Chambless, 68, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, August 7, 2020 at the funeral home.

Ronald G. Chambless passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born October 14, 1951 in Cleburne to Charles Michael and Sarah Nell (Ball) Chambless. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad then it merged to BNSF Railroad where he retired. Ronald was a volunteer fireman for Liberty Chapel fire department. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved his dogs. Ronald was a beloved husband and loved his kids especially his grandkids. “Grandkids were the best gift you get”


Ronald is survived by his wife, Deborah Chambless of Cleburne; daughter, Monica Wood and husband Jeremy of Lindale, Texas; son, Dr. Michael Chambless and wife Dr. Sarah Chambless of Heath, Texas; grandchildren, Jackson Wood, Cora Chambless, Addison Wood, Will Chambless; brother, Steven Chambless and cousin, Merle Gardner.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents.
