Billy Pat Winter lost his brave battle with cancer to go be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was born to Pat James and Joyce Janelle Simmons Winter on October 16, 1951 in Cleburne. He worked at Santa Fe Railroad for 18 years and then went into business as a painting contractor, WW Painting, until 2009.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Winter; daughters, Lisa Rodriguez of Rio Vista, Julie Stewart and husband, Scotty of Blum, Shelly Raifsnider and husband, Andy of Godley; son, Joey Jones and wife, Stephanie of Benbrook; 6 grandchildren, Kristen, Halee, Emma, Erin, Caleb, and Hunter; Uncle, Gene Winter; Aunts, Mary Winter and Bessy Simmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
